One of the important objectives of the institution is to open a de-addiction center for those who were the addicts of alcohol and tobacco in the society. It also undertakes the programlike annihilation of superstition, castism, illiteacy, gender discrimination and to work for the promotion of adult education which is a practice in which adults engage in systematic and sustained self-educating activities in order to gain new forms of knowledge, skills, attitudes, orvalues.

About 60 teaching and non teaching employees are working in the institution. All the employees organize Akhil Bhartiya Bauddha Dhamma Parishad (All Indian Buddhist Conference) yearly since 2007. All the expenditure of the conference is donated only by the employees of the institution. It lasts for two days in the month of February. It's a unique characteristic of the employees which is continuously in progress since 17 years. Such type of socio economic help by the employees reminds the historical speech of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar delivered on 14.10.1956 at Deeksha Bhumi, Nagpur where he guides to the newly converted Buddhist people that you should not become self-centered, every educated man or woman should donate 20 percent part of their income for the welfare and development of the society.
